Cynthiana, Ky., Feb. 13 – Robert O. Haviland, deputy field agent for the Burley Tobacco Growers’ Co-operative Association, was released on $20,000 bond at the conclusion of his examining trial before Judge W. R. Carle in the Harrison County Court. Haviland was held to the grand jury, charged with the murder of Joe Arnold, tobacco man, here last Wednesday. At the preliminary hearing, the defense introduced no testimony.
